The Eastern Christian community–students, parents, alumni, supporters and friends–are invited to a Community Worship Night on Wednesday, November 13 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. This event is completely free and open to all ages. It will be held in the high school auditorium with refreshments to follow.
After a highly impactful high school chapel last year, Eastern Christian School is excited to host the Chasing Hope tour with I Am Second for a second year, now opening it up to the greater community. Racecar Driver Don Wickstrum will be sharing his inspiring testimony of finding hope in the midst of a terminal cancer diagnosis. He will be joined by local community worship leaders for a time of worship.
In addition, as part of the new Parent Academy, parents are welcome to attend a special session beforehand to discuss instilling hope in their children. Don will be presenting his findings on the trends he is observing across the country, and open the floor for small group discussion. That parent-only event will start at 6 p.m. and childcare will be provided. Please see the home bulletin for more information.
